Help wanted

Disclaimer : Any volunteers who offer to help are just that, volunteers not employees.  I am barely supporting myself through Patreon right now and can't hire, I'm looking for people who want to make Harem a better game.  I also can't devote significant time to training so you'll need to be able to hit the ground running.

1.  3DCG poser - A significant amount of time I spend is creating images to go with the scenes I write.  I'm not especially good with the engine so most of mine are just edits of pre-existing poses and if someone has talent with that.  The poser would receive a written version of the scene script and create images to go with it.  I can provide whatever hard-saves you might need or pack my arcs folder up for you to download.  It is 15gb in size though.

Requirements - A great knowledge of creating images with 3dcg.  An ability to work within a pre-existing script under close supervision.  The ability to return hard-saves and the png files for all images created.  The patience to have revision requests made to the initial image set.

2.  3DCG modeler - The assets I use to create the images I cannot create myself and would love if I could find someone that could make slight modifications to existing arcs.  Clothes pulled aside and deformed in different ways.  Arcs made for different body types (NJXA most commonly.  I don't like the body models but theres a lot of good assets made for them) adjusted to fit the standard body.  Maybe even some raw models created, mostly like bondage/restraint parts.

Requirements - Be able to receive an arc file and do whatever techno-wizardy is required to modify it.

3.  Secondary writers/eventers - Having sidequests and distractions from the main plot-line do make the game better but I'd rather devote my time to work on the main questline.  Anyone who wanted to create different side quests within the existing game would make Harem a better game.

Requirements - Writing to conform to an existing style.  Comfortable knowledge of RPG-VX ACE, eventing and mapping most particularly.  Ability to use SVNs.  Skype to communicate with other team members to avoid SVN conflicts.  The ability to handle both constructive criticism and outright rejection.  Any content that that you would have to be discussed with me first to make sure that it fits current and future content without significantly changing the plotline.  And then the ability to work independently to create said content.  Then the willingness to have me tell you how it needs to be changed.  The ability to create your own images in 3dcg would be a huge plus.

3.  Audio design - Some to go through every map and scene and try to create a consistent soundscape for Harem.  I'm playing my own music when designing/testing and rarely hear the BGMs in Harem.

Requirements.  Preferably you would have SVN knowledge and ACE knowledge so I could let you work on the code directly, using skype to avoid conflicts.  If not possible, I could package up the audio I have for the game and you could email me back mapping, what songs go with what maps, sounds for events, etc.  You cannot use any copyrighted or royalty audio in Harem!

5.  Testers - People willing to test beta content to make sure that it works properly.  A huge issue for me in testing is that I assume that players behave as I would behave and out of order bugs are always a huge issue (ie Noemi/Phoebe events in v1) and having multiple minds doing testing reduces bugs tremendously.

Requirements - Ability to use SVN and communicate either via skype or e-mail.  I'll fix the issues you report, commit the changes and then expect you to retest.  Clarity of reports and working by a timetable are important parts of testing.  A comfortable knowledge of ACE would be great, but I'm unlikely to give you direct edit privileges early on.

If you only want to test to play the game earlier, please don't apply.  This is actually very counter-productive as it leads me to believe I have sufficient testers to test the new content and get nothing in return.  As a result I have to go through additional testing cycles or end up releasing buggy content.  There is an early-release Patreon tier, this is not a free version of it.  It is a responsibility.

6.  Promoters - This is a really key thing.  I want as many people to hear about Harem as possible.  Give them a chance to play it and pass it on to their friends.  Forums is my key through right now.  I'm active here and on several forums.  Hongfire, Legend of Krystal and Futunari Palace most particularly but I know there's other spots where games like this would be appreciated.  If you know of them, feel free to let me know or step in and promote!
Requirements - A desire to share the smut!  And inform me if anything interesting is going on there.

7.  Proofers - While I do try to write in proper English, I generate a novel's worth of content every other month for Harem and mistakes happen.  Hiro does his best to proof everything I create, but it's like trying to swim up a waterfall for him.  Anyone that would want to can go through the game and let me know what issues need to be corrected.  You'll have to be very specific as to what and exactly where the issues are as it can be massively difficult to find a single text block in hundreds of maps and tens of thousands of individual events.  Screenshots work best, but sufficiently detailed written explanations can also work.

7.  General - If you have an idea of how to make Harem better, I'm always willing to listen.
