3m2 Release dates

We’re just finishing up on 3m2 and I’m confident enough to pin down some release dates to it.  If everything goes as expected, I’ll release 3m2 to tier 2+ patrons on April 5^th and then out to the public on April 22^nd.

Please keep in mind that all release dates are projected.  I’m fairly confident in these ones, but unexpected things can and do happen.  They are not set in stone.

What 3m2 is going to add:

3 more sidequest lines

-Phoebe will have another quest for you, this time sending you underneath the Castra Corson and more into its history.  Involves Terra heavily, Fiona lightly.

-Fiona has another quest for you, independent of Phoebe’s.  And if you can attract her interest, she might even join you for a dinner.  Which will not end well.

-Gregory has a quest to send you west, into new lands.  You’ll meet some hardy harvesters.  And take one of them for your own, after doing some quests for her.  And meet someone new.

The resort in the fishing village is now open and Sarah would love to visit.  Even if she doesn’t know everything that goes on there.

Added the library to Castra Corson and put Phoebe and Terra into it.  Your chambers are now your own.

Restructured the way you interact with your slaves in base, making it easier to choose if you want to do their quest or interact with them.  Also added in a ‘quickie’ mode.  Not a scene, but you can call on your slaves at will now.

Added Fenja and Cindy to the base.  They won’t have any interactions but you’ll see them at least.

Restructured the replay scene mode to show what scenes you still have to unlock.

Various bug fixes, like getting the items from the Fenja questline.  They will be retroactive so you won’t have to redo that line.

Made it clear that the inn in Eowen is not actually for sale.  I might revisit that concept later, but it’s not part of content currently.

As always, I love any support and feedback I get on Harem.  If you want to donate to fund development of the game, make sure that you put in your pledges before the end of the month.  Patreon only runs the pledges at the end of the month, and if you don’t get in your pledge before the end of the month you’ll have to wait until next month to get the early release or additional content.

OLD SAVES MUST BE UPDATED TO THE NEW SCRIPT ENGINE: This will happen automatically the first time you step into the world map and it can be done manually by using the main characters id ring skill and choosing character reset.  The game will crash if you try to look at the TP mode before this happens.  It is not a bug, please do not report it as such.

Even if you don't feel like or can't donate via Patreon, your feedback is still critical to the development of Harem.  Let me know what you thought.  What you liked and what you didn't like.  What you'd like more of, what I should focus more on and even what you thought I spent too much time on.  The quality control I get from negative feedback is critical and the morale boost I get from positive feedback moreso.

Onto 3m2!
We're almost content locked on 3m2 and going through the final testing of it.  I'm expecting to release it in early April to Patrons.  Play around with 3m1 for the weekend, if you like it, want to support further development and get 3m2 as soon as it's ready, I would love the support.

I've also added 2 non-canon scenes for my higher tier supporters and I might have the time to squeeze in a third.  Teasers from them!

Teasers, information and release dates!

Work on v2c3m2 is going great and I'm guessing that I'll be able to release it early April to Patreons, late April to the public.  There will be a quest line involving the area underneath the Castra with Phoebe that will involve Terra heavily.  The lands to the west of Mountain Glory will also have a series of quests involving them and will add two new characters into the game, one of which will join your harem at the end.  I'll put up teaser images for them on the blog and forums.  A bit more conversation with Fiona as well as well as the resort in the Fishing village re-opening.  Already have 1 NC scene written, hoping to add another 1-2 before release.

Joan in particular was a blast to write, a bit different than any character I've done before.

I've decided to alter the public release dates a bit.  I will be releasing each update on the Friday of the last weekend of every month, so v2c3m1 will come out on the 25th, not the 27th.  I want to give you all weekend to play it before the end of the month.

3m2 coming together

Alright, minus one small bug it looks like 3m1 is working just fine and I've been able to start focusing on creating the next content addition while still writing chapter 4 content.  There will definitely be a v2c3m2 before chapter 4 is done.

Chapter 3 minor 2 will be another sidequest/depth addition.  What it's looking like so far:
-Phoebe will have another questline for you, this time sending you deeper into the Castra rather than out into the world.  The questline will quickly weave through Fiona before focusing heavily on Terra, progressing your relationship with her further (in either a positive or negative sense).  Involving sex of course!
-There will also be an option to creating a gold farming zone in that questline for people who want all the money!
-Fiona will have another quest or two in 3m2 after finishing up her part in Phoebe's quest.  Essentially she's going to work in two parts.  One is her shop function which will evolve and add items the more quests that you do for her.  The other is making her into a resource slave which will be tied to how much you buy in her shop.  Just don't go buying too much too soon, that's not likely to actually be implemented in the near future and I might be adding other things for you to spend money on first!
-Vercin in Eliba will be finished as of 3m1 (for now) but Gregory in Eowen will have another line of quests for you, involving a new area called the Westlands and the dangers/resources there.  And almost certainly women in the future.  This will mostly be an introductory sequence although I might add in a new minor slave as a reward for that sequence.  Not fully decided yet.
-I missed adding in a non-canon scene in 3m1 so I'll be looking to add at least 2, maybe 3 into the game as Patron rewards.  First one involving Sarah is already written.

While development hasn't proceeded far enough for me to guess on an exact date, v2c3m2 should come out sometime in April, followed by v2c4 during May.   Development of those two is simultaneous and I have the mapping done for chapter 4 done already and about halfway through writing/rewriting the content for it.

v2c3m1 Patron release!

I've sent out v2c3m1 for the Patrons today!  Included in the new content:

-3 sidequest lines to show more of the history of the world and characters, as well as gold and loot!  And sex.  Because of course there has to be sex :)
-More Cecilia interactions
-Huge script addition which should change the look and feel of the game.
-In theory, old saves should be completely compatible.

Big bugs found and squashed: A request is found

Spent the last few days trying to get everything working with the new scripts in the game and it was quite a bit of work.  Turns out the RET system was completely incompatible with Yanfly's engine systems and had to rewrite a large amount of the code get everything working again.  I've gotten everything worked out on a fresh playthrough but I don't have saves from the end of v2c3m0 to test prior version compatability. 

Anyone that wants to help, please send me your saves from the end of v2c3.  Either email them to me at haremrpg@gmail.com or post comments with DDLs.  Thanks in advance!
