Welcome Altan to the team and 6m7 update!

First, I want to welcome Altan to the Harem team!  He’s been a patron of the game for a  while and an active member on discord.  We’ve done quite a bit of talking about writing and character, and he impressed me with a few samples of his work.  Enough so I offered him some of my hard-earned Patreon money to write for the game, and he agreed.  He’s doing a cool sidequest series in Denai for 6m7.  And I’ll have a lot more to announce about his work in the future, but that’s for later!

With his work, and t51b’s work, I’m hoping to move the release of 6m7 up.  I’m not saying the 5^th, but I’m hoping for the first half of the month at least.  What we’re hoping to get into 6m7 in November

-The next step in Elan, where you gain access to Senesca, find out a bit of it’s history and the artifact that you’ll need to bypass Cecilia’s “abilities”

-Further progress with Rachel.  She won’t be joining the harem yet, but you’ll get further into her “story” than ever before!

-t51b is working more on Fiona, and we should have Mary in the harem during 6m7 if you captured Fiona in Eowen, and a step further along Fiona’s story if she got away before!

-Altan’s questline in Denai, ending with a nice reward scene!

-The winner of the patreon poll scene!  Naitay’s currently winning with 2 days left to vote!

And because this has been a popular topic in discord and elsewhere on the internet:  I’m aware of Patreon’s update in regards to adult content on their site.  I’ve always been careful to comply with their standards, and I don’t believe that my page here violates their terms.  If I do get reviewed I will be glad to make any reasonable changes. 

Harem c6m6 released to Patrons, c6m5 released to public!

Harem c6m6 is ready for release!  All your women are back in your harem, but one still resists you.  Cecilia has managed to resist your power more than any other women, but how is a complete mystery.  Your other slaves might have some ideas on how she does it.  It’s also time to look for new lands and new women.  Kathleen is striking beautiful and from the province of Elan.  More women like her would be worth a great deal of work.  But what has happened in the intervening centuries… And of course there’s more than that going on.  Fiona and Yvone have been left alone or too long, and Rachel is due another visit in your shop.

-Fiona was left in Corsix to run her shop while you were in Denai.  It's time to pay her a visit if you captured her in Eowen.

-You have set Rachel up with a shop in Denai and given her some time to run it.  Now rent is due, but you'll gladly take payment in her instead of gold.

-Your enemies may have the Hearthstone, but your allies may be able to help you move around faster again.

And with that, c6m5 will be released to the public! Terra, Samantha, and Noemi are back in your harem, and you’ve added Vanessa and Ariel as well. There are many other beautiful women in Denai and Corsixa, it’s time to turn your attention to them. You will (finally) be able to add Alena to your harem on the light route, Rhea on the dark! Leona and Alison are also both worthy to be part of your quest, but taking them might be a challenge! But you can’t ignore the women already with you, both Vanessa and Noemi get some attention this release as well!

Content additions

-Both Rhea and Alena are restricted to the path you are on.  No longer!  The game will let you capture Alena on light and Rhea on dark after the events in Denai!

-Vanessa has finally accepted her place in your harem, but she can't just go AWOL.  You'll have to bring her back to Corsix to report in, after a bit of additional 'encouragement'.

-My patrons wanted Noemi to get a reward scene, so she does!

-Both Leona and Alison belong in your harem, but getting them there might be a challenge.  Time to start actively working on that goal!

-153 pages of new content!

-7 new in-game scenes, 2 new scenes for Legates+

-Several old maps improved

-Difficulty can now be changed from -100 to +100

Bug fixes/balancing

-Hunter is in the process of improving character skills, making combat more interesting.  It will take several releases, but we're starting on it now!

Harem c6m6 update! Beta testing begins.

We started the early Beta testing for Harem c6m6 on Sunday and all my fantastic testers are digging through the code to find all the bugs.  Release should still be about the 15^th.  And another piece of good news with it:  I think I figured out how I want to deal with Cecilia’s submission, but storywise and gameplay wise.  With how late that block broke there isn’t enough time to develop anything beyond the next step, but her (re)downfall is near!

And to address a question that came up on Discord today:  I want to move the release for each month’s content back to around the 5^th instead of the 15^th.  What I’m looking for is a month where I can generate enough content in a 3 week span to move the release date.  This month didn’t work because opening up a new zone is time consuming even without content, and Hiro had been having personal obligations keeping him away from writing.  Even t51 decided to move across the country which slowed down his usual production as well.

My own health is back, it sounds like their lives are getting back in order, and I’m working on bringing in a 4^th writer so we can try to get back to that 2-300 pages/month content level.  When we get closer, I’ll be giving you more details on that.  But there is a lot more content to come!  I’m doing my best to make sure that July-October is just a dip in the schedule, not the new normal.
