Acknowledged bugs

So looks like 0.6a is a bit buggier than I was hoping.  I'm going to make a list of bugs here that I've read and am working on fixing.  Hopefully releasing 0.6a.2 sometime this weekend.  Please do not repost bugs already listed.

-Danielle disappearing after going to grove (event is there, just click on where she was) (fixed internally)
-Donnie/Tomas disappearing on the tram, preventing progress (fixed internally)
-Game freezing in the Corsix tunnels when doing the tentacle sacrifice. (fixed internally)
-Jessica resisting her self-buff (fixed internally)
-Ulya sending you to an empty room in the convent, preventing progress (fixed internally)
-Step counter script errors.  Not something I can fix myself, but I'll have Raziel take a look
There's a few text issues that I want to look at again, as well as sleeping and health indicators.  Should be able to release 0.6a.2 Fri or Sat.  Thanks for the patience!

Things that are not bugs
-Text not dispalying.  I'm not sure what's causing it, but that's something between your computer and VX, not Harem.
-Doors not doing anything.  They don't.
-Enemy health not displaying.  That was something I intentionally did, thought it made combat too predictable.  Most people seem to want it back in, but I'd like more feedback on that.
-The defend skill is not a 100% skill.  Works about 30-40% of the time normally, double if the main character guards.

Things I need more more reports before I decide it's a bug of Harem.

Work is being done, but no immediate eta on the next version beyond hopefully over the weekend.

  1. There`s also another bug a the tentacle cave, when i get to the third scenario after clearing the 3 entrances and go to talk to Vanessa the game freezes

    7. Ya, the level thing won't be an issue. Issue is I decided to add two paths through there near the end of development, but then forgot to code one of them in...

  2. i for one prefer to be able to see my enemy's hp so i know I'm at least doing something hate that feeling of hitting and hitting them and wondering how much longer till they go down.

    1. I agree, plus it gives you a little insight on what enemy has been beaten the most and has the lowest hp, and adds a little more strategy for some enemies like the Gayzan ( the many-eyed tentacled things at the evil tower)

  3. I wonder if i missed something or is it really this short on game-play this time?
    Tram/train>station>village(burning one)>Convent>Forest>Convent>Tenta's fortress
    That's all right? All ended somewhat uneventfully. =(((

    1. I'm trying a bit more incremental releases. Less content, more frequent updates. In the 2-4 month time frames instead of 4-6 month

    Just a suggestion, but it would be nice to mention that guarding increases the defend / cover success rate in the in game skill description. Knowing that now is certainly going to affect my tactics, somewhat.

  6. I've been getting that step counter error pretty often, every time when I F12 back to the menu and occasionally when I load a save.

    Save right before entering the Tenta Fort on the "Good" path, i hope you needed it to fix the bug on that path, because i made a mistake and overwrote the "Evil" save after entering, if you need that one too it would only take me 15 minutes to make one thanks to the skip function (AWSOME addition by the way, one of the best things in the update in my opinion).

    Love the update, especially since i play this game for the plot mainly (the porn is good to, but it would be nothing without the backstory).

    Now, ill try to find an old save to try the new brothel system, congratz on the release!

  9. Oh, and I'd prefer to have the enemy health bar back. I do like the new brothel system; it still doesn't make very much money very quickly (so no balance problems), but it's now much more reasonable to try to get everyone to work there once and get their report.

  11. I think I found another one: it is not possible to regain HP while sleeping in Teresa's hut. The only way is to use Angelica's health skills. Basically if during a combat both Angelica and Ralph are knowk out you cannot go on

  14. Will 0.6a2 fix the Donnie/Tomas glitch, I am only getting it on the evil path so I am going to continue on the light side path. Or is there something I can do to fix it, that would also be cool

  15. For some reason, Noemi will not go back to the fortress after I give her the key, (light side), so she can sneak out and meet me at the base. :(
