Harem c8m1 is ready for release! Definitely smaller than I was hoping but there
was enough ready to ship to pack it up for you all! I had said before that 8m1 was going to be
more focused on scenes, and that is definitely what it was. Samantha’s confidence was dinged by Cecilia’s
trickery, but not that Cecilia has been taken care of its time to start
building her back up. And since it’s
Harem, that’s done in bed. Adeline’s
sworn her loyalty to you, time to learn a bit more about her as well. In bed, of course. And after Kathleen’s lesson, Donnie or Tomas
is ready to try his new ‘skills’ with Jessica.
Although they don’t end up making to the bed until quite a bit later. Both Samantha’s and Jessica’s scene take place
in Lesser Corsix’s inn after the Tower quest.
I was able to sneak a bit of plot into 8m1! Bring Chinua to Mercalius after you get
access to Celee to add her to your harem officially.

c8m1 - Small release due to holidays and injury
-As you travel through Celee again, your women still desire
a night with you. After the Tower, it's
Samantha's night. Be nice and treat her
to a night in an inn instead of a bedroll.
-You have leashed the dangerous assassin, Adeline. Time to get to know her a bit better, in all
senses of the word.
-You and Tomas both remember the emotional conversation
between Donnie and Jessica in Lesser Corsix's inn many months ago... Lets see
how round 2 goes after Kathleen's turn with them.
-Another mage is part of your harem now, but your ally
advises that simply bringing her to the assessor may be an issue. Talk to Mercalius about her instead!

some ‘quality’ time with your own Centura as you investigate a series of brutal
murders in Corsix. After you have saved more than just his city, it’s time to
revisit some old friends in Lesser Corsix and find out what’s happened to your
allies why you were gone and maybe why even the Ratan provinces seemed full of
monsters trying to kill you. Oh, Leona and Chinua go topless!

-A crisis in Corsix may be just the
opportunity you need to convince Mercalius that you're trustworthy enough to be
allowed back into Celee. And you get to see more of his beautiful wife.
-It's clear that Adeline is just a
weapon in Lord Makath's hands. A woman like that should be a sword in your
hand, and a sheathe in your bed.
-All you know is that Legate
Marianna is powerful and beautiful. You're about to find out that she is both
beautiful and powerful.
-Back in Celee, things have been
happening while you were gone. And they'll need your help to sort them out
again.
-Chinua may have sworn to you in her
people's way, but the Ratans won't respect that. You'll need to find a way to
make her yours officially as well (portal stone)

gateway inn, updating his dialogue as the plot progresses.

ReplyDeleteHmm... seems both Edrin's conversion in the good one and Isabella's conversation in the evil path both aren't available. That's odd, since I keep reading in the updates that Corsix is available. Unusual for side quests like that to be unavailable when something that seems like main story continuing on is.
Still liking what content is here though. I just find it very odd that the good natured Isabella scene is available and its evil natured corresponding scene isn't available.
So, why are there added saved games with the public version? Is there anything good hidden there? Or is that just an oversight?

DeleteFor the last couple of versions, there's two scenes that are consistently marked as 'Coming Soon' that haven't been updated, and I fear I might lose doing those scenes if I go to Corsix. Is this true or not?
ReplyDeleteSaid scenes: in the evil save file, speaking to Isabella at the moat. And in the good save file, converting Edrin with those Bracers that were used to turn Laurent into Laura. I very much don't want to miss those scenes, or is there a way to trigger them now?
How exactly do you unlock Angelica's herb bag? It doesn't seem as simple as talking to her when she joins you.
ReplyDeleteI don't recall off the top of my head. I know it involves the quest for her special weapon though. Which is an option you can get by talking to her at the Castra Corson, or however that's spelled.

DeleteTo make things clear, I am referring to be the regular herb bag and not the upgraded version earned through Angelica's unique quest.
DeleteActually, pretty sure Angelica tells you she forgot something home when you talk to her in Castra Corson. I think you have to get her to open the "secret entrance" first. But the quest itself has nothing to do with the Herb Bag. The quest just gives you access to a field with potion ingredients.
ReplyDeleteThat is what I can't figure out. I talk to her to open the secret passage and then get her two scenes. After that, I just get generic dialogue until she mentions her herb bag.
DeleteAh I get you. Yeah, she doesn't seem to have an obvious trigger to her item "quest". She just randomly tells you. I am sure there's a trigger in the script itself but yeah it seems pretty much a "it happens when it happens" situation. I had a similar experience with Terra's Castra events because it seemed like some of her events began happening out of order (which may have been because I did a lot of sidequests before I even went to Lesser Corsix).
DeleteJust realized something that should be fixed. Fiona is in Corsix... but you are never once given the option to collect profits from her, despite how many customers are in her shop.

ReplyDeleteOn the evil save file, talked with Noemi in Corsix about giving a reward, then talked to Angelica and Donna. Now, Noemi is no where to be found to talk to in regards to the promised reward. Where is she?

DeleteBeen overall loving this. There's only one thing that I have any notable complaints about: that Donnie and Thomas's 3D model is the same and matches neither of the two at all. With how well you did with Ralph, I didn't expect that result with them.

Another complaint. The artifact for enslaving Cecilia is the same in good and evil. It should be a different artifact... though having it in the same location is another matter entirely and entirely possible.^_^
ReplyDeleteFor a while now, Noemi keeps having 'Adeline' as an option. But, I haven't even met any Adeline yet, so it shouldn't even be unlocked at this point.:\
ReplyDeleteDarn. This is really disappointing. You continue onto Elan and continue the chapters... without even first finishing the side quests in Denai/Corsix. There's still talking to Isabella at the moat in the evil side, and both don't have transforming Edrin.:\
ReplyDeleteSeems the images for the quest to hunt down the Death Worms is incorrect. Got some dual headed snake thing instead of what Ralph described, some sort of insect worm with a leech like mouth.
ReplyDeleteJust saw Nona. A shame that she's considered 'too old'. Maybe another artifact like those bracers can change that. She seemed interesting.
