-Another slave of Edrin's has escaped. Rhea would be most interested in finding the slave.
-Angelica's father needs Angelica's 'skills' and she will gain new abilities if you take the time to 'help' him.
-Kathleen being possessed and attacking you is getting so passe. Time to do something about that!
-You may have saved Lesser Corsix, but her troops are in bad shape. Tits for tat as they say!
-Fiona may be your slave, but there's more to her than just her enchanting abilities.
-Jessica from the Circle Guild might be most interested in what you've done for the fine people of Eliba.
-The strange character spying on you in 4m3 continues her work. You might be able to get your hands on her!

A bug I found earlier in the game, when battling Sarah for the first time, even if you win it still plays out as if you lost.
ReplyDeleteIf you are referring to the very first time, it's programmed that way so that you have to choose which path to take.
DeleteCorrect. There's a small number of fights where you have to lose. Sarah's first bout, the Tu'Than Ambush segment, Kathleen's Mountain Ogres at the end of her first questline.
DeleteA question though: Should I break the 4th wall and tell the player it's a loss event or just leave them as is?
i would say maybe like the first time do a little hint type thing pop up and say that some battles are just unwinnable and after that people can kind of learn which ones are.
DeleteThose battles are pretty easy to pick though, as monsters only last 2 or so combat rounds also the scripted losses seem to have higher damage then normal battles.
DeleteUnless there is more main story/lore thats' expounded in 4m4 I beleive its' time to move things along to chapter 5. What's the name of the warrior woman in Lesser Corsix that's the head of the local militia? Is bringing her into your harem in this release or is that going to be the next chapter?
ReplyDeleteThat's the plan! And you're talking about Vanessa. She's getting additional content in both 4m4 and chapter 5, but won't be joining your harem until 6.

DeleteRhea is definitely among my favorites and since there is some Edrin content in this update I´ll ask this here, will it be possible to get her from him in one of the later chapters on the dark path? Maybe with her then thinking you are a benevolent master (even though darkpath=asshole) as she has only Edrin to compare you with. I remember how she turned out in the last chapter of v1 being completly broken by Edrin. And i still kinda wanna save her from that guy, not even the darkpath Ralph is that cruel.
ReplyDeleteNot quite sure how here character will develop on the dark route, but her time under Edrin will leave her damaged. How much she'll be 'fixed' is a question I don't know the answer to yet.

ReplyDeleteSecondly, all this time, I have yet to encounter a girl that wields the spike claws sold in Eowen. Did I miss that somehow? How do you find the girl that wields those?

Deleteis there anyway to have Terra be cool with you on the dark path... she is the best char in the game for me...and my waifu, i only choose the "nice" options with her and she still hates me, so sad bout that by the way

Deletehmm...looking forward to it! i'm playing the nice route just to see if i can have Terra follow me around forever, i do enjoy other chara...i do have my team pretty much picked out though, Terra, angelica and Naitay, with Donna, Kathleen, sarah and noemi(in case i need to phanthom kill people with status effects)
DeleteThats an interesting setup, I normally only use Angelica for the harvest style missions as she doesn't seem to heal as well as Donna.
DeleteI'm on the 3.1 version. What does 2CD mean for the cost of Kathleen's deep freeze move? That's not a MP amount.
