Work continues!

Thank you everyone for the feedback!  I was able to get a lot of useful information before the poll was polluted and will be taking it into mind as I continue to develop chapter 4.  The routes were always going to deviate more there, but I'm going to push them a bit further apart than my initial plans with a focus on your character's motivation driving it (hopefully)

The actual development of chapter 4 is going very well.  Both the writing and coding are more than 2/3rds done, after finishing that it just leaves imaging and testing.  While it's way too early for me to pin down a date, I would expect a chapter 4 release earlier rather than later in May.

Finally, I've decided to stop using rapidgator/filefactory for distribution.  I'll be using google drive as the primary download in the future.  I did gain some small income from using them but it's been dwarfed by Patreon and no longer makes sense.  So a big thanks to all my Patrons.  The only downside is that I won't be able to track the number of downloads, but it's been 5000+ for every version.  If you like the change, I do ask that you post a bit of feedback in the forums to draw more attention to the game!  I do regularly check and respond to the linked forums same as I do here, so be confident that any feedback you give me will be read and responded to there as well.

Hey man I see its coming along nicely as for that whole light/dark path thing with the remake I saw it more of a light/do whatever it takes to achieve my goal path which is a lot better as its a lot easier to bring out the charters more like with the mage this time there is a good reason for you to dominate her mind as you a worried what see could be like in the future if you follow that kind of story arc this game should be even better then before or who know meaby you have a better idea in mind for this either way cant wait till the next part keep up the hard work man

  2. Hello Ker! A guy who has been with you since 0.3 of the previous version is here.
    That said. I love the new content. Somehow i can feel the writing been more polished enverything more wel thought than before, even though i have only played the light path since day one. So... I have an unreasonable request, but just hear me out please.
    First of i need an example of ehat i'm asking here:
    Have you ever played the Mass effect series. If not the whole example is useless but finish reading.
    In the game you have two important dialogue options. Simply put. "The no bullshit" and "crusader" to give an analogy. But it wasn't really good or bad. See where i'm going? In it the options you are given are option that any human could do if put under stress or if gentle, and one could choose whichever of the two and it would still make sense that the MC is a person.
    Myself, i always use a "no bullshit" character because i find it more realistic.
    In harem i usually tend to stay away from the dark path because, ( even though i know people douchy as that exists) is not something i would do. Even under stress.
    So in short... I think it would be grat if you could somehow change the tone of the dark path from. Douchebag to no bullshit.
    It would make the dark path more apealing (at lesat to me) in the next builds of harem.
    If not... I still love the work.

      I'm not quite sure what your talking about with the douchebag vs no-bullshit options. Could you give me a discrete example from v2 on how you think that'd work?

  3. I think, if I had one thing to add here, it's that I liked the old "spend from your bounty to help Naomi and Phoebe fix their village's well" side-quest, and my only complaint was that it got gated behind the brothel side-quest I wasn't so hot on.

    So... well, if you want to re-implement it as a thing later in Naomi's conversation line, I would be happy.

    Also, I really am digging how this new version of the game looks and works, so if there're more "small towns" later on, more power to the game! Good luck when you get to "the trial" though! ;)

    1. I agree completely. I always thought that Noemi's well scene was one of the best in version 1 and will absolutely be an opportunity to recreate it. 3m2 creates an possible spot to put it, but I have to see how that content evolves. It might get back in for 4m1.

      I'm also going to be creating a poll soon about the brothel, so it might also get directly re-added to the game.

  4. I have been following your game for awhile, so far I have enjoyed it. If you are looking for more feed back and more people to try out your game why not create a link to this site on http://tfgamessite.com/ . If nothing else it will give you a forums to do polls and give you a away of tracking bugs that other people might find.

  6. I've been following this game for quite some time; new and old versions and I truly enjoyed everything in it. This new remake is leagues better than the one I already found enjoyable, despite its dark themes. There is one concern on my mind when it came to the first Rata city formally introduced in the game: Upper Corsix (I think that was the name?). If the story remains the same and the event that happens there is still planned, will it still be timed like it was in earlier builds of it? While I didn't mind it per say, it was still a bit of a irritant, especially when I wanted to fully explore what I could of the city, but I really couldn't because of the time limit.

    1. It's unlikely I'll reintroduce the timer. It never actually worked in v1, if you timed out the timer just stuck at 0 and it just wasn't a good idea.
